In a sudden emergency a man goes to a “friend” who loves him, to borrow three loaves of bread at an unreasonable hour of night, not for himself, but for another friend that came unexpectedly to him at that hour. The man’s friend is in bed and says he will not get up and give him what he needs, even being his friend.
The man continues “knocking,” the man in bed does not get up because of their friendship. But because of the man’s ''continuous knocking'' he will have what he came for, because of his“Importunity!”
